Boarding

Frederick Hall Equestrian Center offers top quality boarding and training.  The horses are constantly tended to with prudent concern for their individual needs. 

In order for your horse to have customized service please contact Debbie.  The caretakers at Frederick Hall know that each horse and rider is different, and as such, we find that personal consultation is vital when deciding on boarding.

After consultation we will follow up with a plan customized for you and your horse.  Full-care boarding, breaking, and training with lessons is available.

Lessons and Training

Training and Frederick Hall Equestrian Center covers dressage, hunt seat, and eventing training.  The goal of training sessions is for the rider and horse to strengthen and become more comfortable with each other. Presently, we have four teachers at the barn.  We give children's lessons and are in the process of breaking a number of small ponies for our smaller students.

Debbie gives begging to advanced dressage lessons to teens and adults.

Jessica gives children to adults lessons in hunter/jumper, beginning dressage, and eventing.

Dressage:

Debbie Burger teaches riders the basics of horse management in dressage.  The International Horse Federation defines it as the “highest expression of horse training.”  Through progressive training methods dressage harnesses a horses natural ability and performance.  An experienced dressage rider will be able to train other horses with more finesse.



Hunt Seat:

Hunt Seat and dressage are the two classical forms of English riding.  Hunt seat competitions take place on flat surfaces and over fences.  Debbie first judges the riders abilities on a flat surface.  The rider and horse will work on strengthening exercises to meet the physical demands of riding.
